Still adjusting to this RA thing. I keep giving myself scheduling conflicts. Finally, this week I'm saying, "Fuck it," and skipping my A&PII lab, because I do not have the mental capacity to unravel my rather innocent fuck-ups. I'm getting my hours in and I am figuring this shit out, one way or another.
I will be rather wracked with guilt, as I really do like lab, but there is nothing for it. My professor is just going to have to go without my pretty face for a week.
At least it's a three-day weekend, next week, where I do not have duty and I will have gotten PAID. So I can UNWIND.
I LIKE MY JOB, BUT ADJUSTMENT PERIODS SUCK.
Today, after FINALLY being allowed to leave my dorm, a kid I know from GSA gave me a silent glare and stomped off when I said hello to him. He's on my block-list for FB, because I don't feel like talking to him a lot of the time, but I've never done or said anything to this kid to evoke this kind of reaction. That I'm aware of, anyway.
Luckily, I don't care enough to be too torn up about it.
ALSO, CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHEN FLORIDA SUDDENLY BECAME LOCATED IN SIBERIA?!
