Also? God sent Castiel (Casteal? sp? No one seems to know. I know that most angelic names end with 'ael' or at least 'el', because it denotes something I can't remember right now...) to Dean, because we, the fandom, are not depraved enough. We need to leave no doubt in anyone's mind that we are indeed going to that special hell. Why yes, I can say 'wingfic'.

And Castiel was just so... clueless about humanity. He was suprised about Dean not believing he was worth saving. Suprised. He did 'suprised' so well, too. Yum.

And now for a downer.

I really did not notice this as an offense, because clearly I am a traitor to my gender, but Dean dared to slap a woman. And then drop money on the table to further humiliate her.

... at what point did they forget that the woman was a demon? Dean was proving a point. They (the demons) were terrified of what brought Dean back, and couldn't raise a hand to him because of it. Dean was getting some of his ownback against the THINGS THAT SENT HIM TO HELL IN THE FIRST PLACE. Dude, I'd punch babies for that. Bitch-slapping a demon who happens to be in the form of a woman? I did not feel my sufferage dwindle, nor do I see corsets lurking in my near future.

Put on your big-girl panties and deal with it, people. The bitch got owned. It was a guy who did it. I LAUGHED, and I will continue to do so.

I agree with everything you just said! (well maybe not the wingfic part, not a fic person to be honest) Yes the woman was a demon, and feminists that get disturbed by that scene fail to realize he was humiliating a demon (that which he hates) not a woman. Even though he is kind of sexist in his own right anyway. I don't really care.

I like how Sam has changed so much, and has become a bit more like his brother Dean in some respect. They now seem to share a similar attitude towards women. Seems like SPN suggests that womanizing is an effect of some sort of mental scarring that has to do with self loathing. Or at least that sort of effect that happens to Winchesters anyway.

And Sam has changed so much. It really did tickle me that he and Sam commiserated on the hotness of the psychic chick, and they're both now eually gung-ho about going it alone to spare the other.

Between you, me, and the internet, I think that this could mean EPIC GOOD VERSUS EVIL battles in the near future. I cannot wait!

I don't know, it depends what wingfic is exactly. Knowing you its hard to tell. If its at all a sexual fic then I won't give it a shot, just because I find that sort of stuff boring (unless sex is used in terms of humor like in SPN for instance). Basically I don't care about porn or romance. But if its one of those other types of fics the you like, that are just plain cool and awesome in a different way then sure maybe I'll give it a shot.

Yes Sam is so different now. He has even outright lied to Dean and disobeyed his 'dieing wish' with the whole psychic demon powers thing. Its so interesting that they are on very similar grounds now, yet two sides of the spectrum. Infrared vs. Ultraviolet?

Yes I totally agree, I think this could mean epic good versus evil battles in the near future. It just oozes it.

Scratch that, I can say wingfic. I just read up on it, and the premise is pretty much in the name. It's just a fic where characters have wings, that is a fairly basic category it seems malleable enough to go any way. So yes I can say wingfic depending on the circumstances. On a side note, I think Dean is going to get 'wings' eventually.
