Jumping the Shark... ?

Okay, just for the record? Things pulling you under the bed?

NOT OKAY.

That's some Lovecraftian mole-people shit.

And, I also HATE things coming out of the dark to get you. I hate it. Cheap scares are shit. Gimme gore, any day.

And, then, OH SHIT, PLOT TWIST. The kid is not the kid! HAHA!

Also, called the ghoul thing, what with the eating of the dead. And... the not-so-dead. Heh.

Anyway. Sucked that they had a brother they'd never known, like, for real. Sucked majorly. Wonder if Bobby knew anything about it...

BUT. HERE'S MY BIG QUESTION.
They made a big deal about Sam drinking demon blood, and then about his blood tasting different. (ew)
But then he bled a LOT. Vertical cuts running up your arm is how you cut yourself if you want to die. Don't ask how I know, but it's true. (Just for the record, though, don't cut yourself at all. Seriously. Emo is over. Find a new scene.)
Whether he got a blood transfusion (most likely), or they let him sit till it came back by itself (doubtful), Sam now has a lot of new blood going through his veins.
Is that wiping clean the metaphorical slate on this evil!Sam business? Is that what they meant by jumping the shark?

If so, I approve. Because as much as I <3 evil!Sam, that drinking blood thing is just WAY too far off the reservation for me. I don't care HOW bad Sam wanted to avenge Dean.

Anyway. Yeah. I liked this, because it outed a lot of Dean's daddy-issues (that we KNEW about, hello! Not deaf, dumb, and blind over here!), but then I didn't, because our boys are still not sure what to do with each other. Cas, come and knock their heads together or something, plzkthnxbai.
