Another two-fer, because I spent all day yesterday driving in a car with no AC and the President shutting down the freaking highway.
14. How do you map out locations, if needed? Do you have any to show us?
I'm the map. It's all up here.
No, really. Occasionally, if things get epic, I'll doodle out some kind of Tolkien-ian world map, complete with trees and mountains and dragons in the margins. But otherwise, it's all in my head.
15. Midway question! Tell us about a writer you admire, whether professional or not!
WORD.
Neil Gaiman. He writes the way I would be able to, if I dedicated my life to a) being amazing and b) selling my soul to the dark god of your choice, complete with the occasional virgin sacrifice. Like I said, before, he doesn't seem to write. He just shows you what was already there.
And I can never express enough love for the Endless. I love constructs given form, be it the four Horsepeople (also his doing), or Death the punk rocker with an ankh and an attitude.
