So, ya'll are probably munching Peeps, gnawing on the ears of chocolate rabbits, and keeping an eye out for oversized, egg-bearing bunnies.

Lemme tell ya'll how we celebrate in France.

Snow, snickerdoodles, Zapps, computer cables, and blood.

So, I wake up this morning and look out the window. And it is pouring down snow. I got video of it.

And then I open my box that the family sent. AND I GOTS STUFF. Like books, and snickerdoodles, and Zapps, and OMG, YUSS! So breakfast consisted of cookies and Crawtater flovered chips.

And then I cammed my stash and the snow, and fought with the downloading process.

And then I sat down to watch The Mist.

Upon first hearing of it, I thought it was that movie with the guy from Smallville and the chick from Lost in it. No, thats The Fog. God, guys, get it right!

Anyway. Based off of a Stephen Kind book, as we go back to his not-Misery or Gerald's Game roots. 'Cept for that it kinda is.

The movie is kind of a disaster/social commentary that you come to expect from Romaro, with gratuitous amounts of blood to kind of even out the 'Jesus shit, no wonder I'm pro-nuclear' vibe that it gives you.

And then Stephen King goes back to fucking with your head, as only he can really do. Except that you kind of expect it from him, since he's done little else. If you've seen Storm of the Century, read The Skeleton Crew, or pretty much any of Lovecraft, you can kinda figure out how the story's gonna go.

Although I know for a FACT that the story didn't fuck you in the head as much as the movie does.

On a brighter note, its got Laurie Holden in it, with her killer eyebrow. (the cop chick from Silent Hill. Shut up, I like that movie.)

So. Thats the blood. And now I crave more cookie...

Happy Easter!
