Hang in there Dami. I know it can be stressful to be surrounded by pop culture sex addicted teens that follow mainstream society in a blind daze consuming all they can to build their status. But its not all bad. Just don't let it get to you like that. It can be annoying to only be hearing about sex on and on and on. But hey eventually you become numb to idiocy. It's a life style they choose, try not to hate them too much for it. You don't want people to look down on you for your choices yes? I know you probably couldn't care less, but its food for thought.

Even though killing everyone might be really tempting, we both know its not the answer. I have read your other posts of college adventure but I figured I would sum it all up in one reply instead of replying to each college adventure post I missed individually.

I am much like you in the whole not caring about drugs, sex, and other degenerate shit. Really the only interest I have in sex is for comedy. I only see comedic value in it personally. I am just strange like that. Drugs and status symbol stuff has no value to me either. I don't care too much for social status, and I don't care for "highs" I am high enough on life and I don't need to influence my head to be all "weird".

If you are wondering, yes, I too am surrounded by people who talk a lot about that kind of stuff. Some are much like the teens you have been mentioning, others are people close to me like family and friends. Most of the people close to me that care about that shit are deeper than the surface of all that and are interesting people to be around. Give some of them a chance, they might be cool, and if not, then you haven't lost anything that you didn't already have.

Well I have one week left before my college adventure begins, and I am very excited. Although I probably won't face the same problems as you since that sort of issue isn't as bad up here, and I am going to be commuting to and from school instead of living there. I am being cost efficient since I am pretty much funding my schooling on my own without loans.

Well hang in there Dames, and let me know of any other wacky wild college adventures.

Eh. I'm actually not freaking out that bad about it. Its just obnoxious that kids will cling to the high school mentality of 'I have more sex than you' one-up-manship (how the fuck do you write that? ^^).

I know it'll get better once classes start, 'cause then we won't be standing on each others toes all the time.

College so far is pretty whacky, dude, so I wish you luck with it. But you're gonna be fine. And you'll probably manage to have some fun, too!

I am excited for the whacky world of college. I am sure it will be a big adjustment but I will be fine.
