A Day Without Gays
Dec. 10th, 2008 10:59 amToday, ladies and gentlemen is A Day Without a Gay, the day when GLTB people all across the country are standing up and putting their foot down. The goal is to make it abundantly clear to those around us that we are not second-class citizens by calling in gay. If enough of us participate, imagine what we could do. We can shut down entire businesses, corporations.
I don't have a job. I don't have an exam today. But I am showing my support nonetheless.
If this doesn't make them listen, then we'll do it again next year. Because this isn't going to go away, any more than we are.

Okay. Keep in mind that I seem to have spontaneously regressed into the mind of a 13 year old, but I liked it.
The whole emotional bit struck me as a little awkward on everybody's part, and God's truth, I liked Carlisle the best, but I liked it.
God help me, I liked Twilight. And I'm gonna read the books.
Somewhere, my little sister, Tori, is having a fucking celebration.
It started out as morbid curiosity. There seem to be two camps, those that OBSESS over Twilight, and those who abhor it. By default, I was in the latter group, but if theres one thing I like to do, its to gain perspective as to what the fuss is about, good or bad. So, I watched the movie.
I hear all kinds of horrible things about the books, about how they are juvenile and stupid, but you know what? The world is swimming in books that are written by adults, for adults, and they SUCK. So I'm gonna sink my teeth in.
Now, if my age group will ever forgive me, this has yet to be seen...

Do what now?
Dec. 10th, 2008 11:28 pmSo, instead of studying, I ended up drawing. This is strange, as I haven't done it seriously in months.
And, after scribbling some scary-ass stuff, I ended up drawing a male nude. I've got next to no experience with male nudes, so this is even stranger.
But the finishing touch to this cake of strange is that I drew fanart. I have never in my LIFE drawn fanart.
And its Supernatural fanart! As in, a real person fanart!
I. Eh.
I'll upload it this weekend or something, when I can use my father's scanner.
Ah. What.
