THE CAR IS FIXED!!!! AND I FIXED IT!!!

Let's all take this moment to glory in that which is my father, the finance behind this entire fiasco and the voice on the phone talking me down from the ledge time and again.

My Dad super-shipped the required part to me and I installed it with a minimum of pain and a maximum of swearing and, like magic, it turned over on the first try.

I then drove it around town for a victory lap and did not stall, once. I did squeal the tires, but frankly I prefer that to hitting the asshole who nudges up on my back bumper when we're stopped on a hill. Even if it would be satisfying...

And in related news, the official name for my first car is Don Juan de Marco the Red, aka Red Marco. Red for short, MARCO! if I've lost him in a parking lot, and STELLAAAA!!! if he's having gender identity issues.

And Marco is fixed none-too-soon, as I am trekking home next weekend for my sister's graduation (?!). Also, I'm getting my first tattoo.
